The Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce has many opportunities for you to lend your business expertise and valuable skills to help make our communities better places to live, work and play. By working on councils and programs, volunteers help the Chamber shape issues, plan events and accomplish goals important for the economic vitality of the Heart of the Valley.  Dedicated, caring and creative individuals working tirelessly year-round are what makes the Chamber such a positive and progressive force in the Heart of the Valley.  We welcome your involvement! Advocacy Council
This group will represent the Heart of the Valley businesses in our community and in government.  This council maintains open communication with government officials, stays better informed of business issues as they potentially impact our members, conduct monthly Meet Your Legislator meetings and works with municipalities and economic development groups to lead in the attraction of businesses to our area. Leadership Roundtable Group
This program gives business owners and senior managers an opportunity to learn from the expertise and hands-on experience of their peers when looking for challenges that confront them. New members must be pre-approved by existing group. Click here to e-mail for more information on this council!

 

Business Development Council
This Council is an exclusive group of volunteers that works to actively promote the Chamber and support its mission with the goal of increasing membership. Team members must have the ability to generate new business and maintain client relationships.

Membership Marketing Council
This council works to explore, develop and implement programs that increase membership sales and retention, produce non-dues revenue and market the Chamber’s products and initiatives to satisfy the needs of current and prospective members.

Member Resource Council
This Council provides targeted products, services, events and programs that members consider as essential elements of their success. This council offers Business Grants, Seminars and Business over Breakfast programs. Special Events Task Force
The Chamber offers opportunities for members to get involved with the planning and implementation of our Annual Events. Separate Task Force meet to plan the Golf Outing, the Annual Dinner and the Taste from the Heart event.
