The 'scenic-ness" of the Sherwood area is a positive plus. Down the hill from the village is a challenging 18-hole golf course ringed by the exclusive High Cliff Village. The village is set into the cliff itself as well as being sited along many of the fairways of the golf course. High Cliff Village was plotted out to perfection before a single home site was sold. One of the busiest marinas on Lake Winnebago is part of High Cliff Village. This marina serves as the summer home to hundreds of sailboats and motor craft. The well-used public boat ramps of this marina are also used extensively through three seasons of the year.
